Changing Families sponsors faith-based, two-day seminars that deal with the issues affecting single parents and their families. The seminar is designed to help single parents and their children work through the unique set of challenges they face and move on to a satisfying life.
The Changing Families seminar is a comprehensive series of keynote talks and workshops, covering the issues that cause much of the confusion, hurt, anxiety, and relational problems within single-parent families. There are large group talks, small group discussions and a variety of workshop choices dealing with informative and sometimes hard-hitting subjects. There is practical guidance for not only surviving but also thriving within the context of a one-parent family.
Although this is a time of healing for everyone in the One-Parent family, it is not intended primarily for divorce recovery.
No matter how you became a single parent, you are welcome.
